Naughty or nice?

Here's my take on the classic Colour Monte-reimagined specifically for my Christmas residencies and gigs, and designed to double as a fun marketing tool. I've created two versions: one for children and one for adults. Both sets live neatly in a quad packet-trick holder crafted from waxed Crazy Horse leather with a green suede lining and matching stitching.

The premise is simple: Naughty or Nice.

Santa invites the spectator to play a little game where they try to follow the Nice card as it moves between the two Naughty cards. After some playful patter and byplay, you reveal the first two cards-Naughty and Nice-and then ask what they think the final card is. They'll almost always say "Naughty."

That's when you deliver the kicker:

"You don't want to end up on the Naughty List, do you? Make a wish to be on the Nice List..."

And when they do, the final card transforms into a Nice List Certificate-which they get to keep!

For adults, there's a cheekier version: a "Nice" card and a slightly "naughty" climax that always gets a laugh. People absolutely love keeping these giveaways, and they make brilliant little marketing pieces too.

The quad case is a real bonus-it holds both routines set up and ready to go, plus spares inside. I can instantly tell which set is which: the kids' version has the Naughty/Nice detail on the front.

I'm having so much fun performing this, and it's been a real winner with Christmas audiences.
