A playing card passes through an ordinary bill

After performing a few card tricks, take out a banknote, such as a $100 bill. Fold it in half, take a playing card from your deck, and slide the card into the fold.

Invite your spectators to watch closely. Holding the card between your thumb and forefinger, slowly slide it into the bill. The card appears to pass straight through the banknote itself, visibly penetrating the material without leaving any damage.

Unfold the bill to show that it is completely intact and ordinary. Show the playing card as well: there is nothing to see.
