Lasso Rope (Fringe) by Mr. Magic - Trick

A chosen card is replaced into the deck which is shuffled and dropped into a box. A rope approximately 36" long, having tassels at either end, is lowered into the box. After a bit of magical gestures, the rope is lifted and spectators see the rope knotted around the selected card. Watch your audience's astonished reactions!

An old classic trick has been improved by attaching tassels to the rope ends, thus making it seemingly impossible to use magnetic rope ends. This one will fool magicians, too!
