Nightmare Page Word Test by David Alnwick | The 1914

A Pocket-Sized Word Revelation

Nightmare Page by David Alnwick and The 1914 is a one-page mentalism tool designed to fit in a pocket or wallet. A spectator chooses a word from the page. Without asking for letters or fishing for clues, you describe their choice, then deliver the surprise: reveal the exact word they almost thought of.

Made for close-up or stage

• Perform for up to four spectators at a time
• No repeated words, progressive anagrams, or fishing
• Repeat the effect for the same group and get different outcomes
• The page is in English, but the principle can be adapted to other languages

Created by full-time stage performer David Alnwick and developed for his Edinburgh Fringe performances, Nightmare Page also works for intimate close-up settings.
