P.O.V. Pad by João Miranda & Julio Montoro – Mentalism Peek Pad

P.O.V. Pad: Mentalism by João Miranda & Julio Montoro

Turn a sticky note into the starting point for a mind-reading reveal. P.O.V. is a gimmicked sticky pad that lets the performer instantly peek at a written word, number or drawing while the spectator keeps the very same paper.

Natural actions, personal reveals

Rather than placing the spectator's note into a wallet or holder, P.O.V. allows them to write and then immediately retain their note. The taught handlings use motivated, justified actions to obtain the information for your reveal.

Explore six different handlings and four effects explained in detail, then choose the presentation that fits your close-up mentalism repertoire.

Four taught routines

• Direct Thought: Reveal a spectator's written number between 1 and 1,000 after touching their forehead.
• Mirror Routine: You and a spectator draw at the same time, then reveal matching drawings without expensive electronics.
• Drawing Duplication: An apparently incorrect drawing is crumpled, placed in a wine glass and revealed to have transformed into the spectator's drawing.
• Card Trick Kicker: Reveal a remembered card among six cards, then finish with a sticky note on the chosen card displaying the spectator's original number.
